**Demonstration of the moss layer transfer technique after extraction, and of the new technique of harvesting the acrotelm**

**Morning**

- Defining peatland degradation states
- Overview of peat extraction steps for horticultural substrates
- Demonstration of the moss layer transfer technique
- Visit to restored sites and analysis of success trajectories

 **Lunch:** Parc Nature de Pointe-aux-Outardes

**Afternoon**

- Presentation of peat extraction through acrotelm harvesting (MAC)
- Discussion on reference sites and their comparison with the trajectories of restored post-industrial sites
- Discussion on different revegetation techniques

 **What to bring:** Lunch, tall rubber boots and weather-appropriate clothing.
