This document combines as-of-2016 reports for projects relating to mine site reclamation of the Canada’s Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA) Land Environmental Priority Area (EPA).

These research projects focus on instrumented watersheds, wetlands, compensation lakes and aquatics, soils and reclamation materials, revegetation, wildlife research and monitoring, and environmental research and monitoring. Each report outlines target objectives of the project, progress and successes for the site, as well as lessons learned for projects that are at a sufficient stage of completion in 2016 to report outcomes for the site.

These projects were developed in collaboration with CNRL and various research providers and industry collaborators. Please contact the Industry Champion identified under each research project if any additional information is needed. Updated reports for projects in their first few years can be found in later editions of the COSIA Land EPA Mine Site Reclamation Research Report.
