This document is part of the 360 tours project Toolkit developed by Canada's Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA) led by Cenovus Energy Inc., in collaboration with Natural Resources Canada. The ultimate goal of the 360 tours project is to improve accessibility to forest restoration knowledge for individuals that are unable to be in the field.

This document outlines the importance and necessity of monitoring, including implementation and effectiveness monitoring, in order to infer required improvements to technique or determine the success of the restoration tactic. It can be found on their 360 tours site, which includes a silviculture toolkit containing videos, factsheets, guidebooks, and practical tips. In addition, the site includes virtual tours of previously restored sites.
