Ellen Macdonald is a professor with the Department of Renewable Resources at the University of Alberta. Her presentation covers the research done through EMEND regarding biodiversity, and how wet areas mapping and lidar have been used in that research.

This presentation was part of the Wet Areas Mapping Initiative workshop hosted by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry in March 2016. The Alberta Land-use Knowledge Network recorded the presentations, and is happy to make them available here.
