Chronic wasting disease – a fatal prion disease that affects cervids – has impacts on a number of different stakeholder groups. Hunter perceptions of CWD and responses to changing levels CWD in terms of hunting activity will be explored. Hunter perspectives on their role in management of CWD, and the economic impacts of CWD management programs involving hunters will be presented.
