Julia Shapka Coordinator of Environmental Services Lac La Biche County Julia Shapka is the Coordinator of Environmental Services with Lac La Biche County, a specialized municipality in Alberta. She holds a B.Sc. in Environmental and Conservation Sciences from the University of Alberta and is working toward her Professional Biologist designation. Julia also serves as the Vice Chair of the Lac La Biche Watershed Management Plan Committee, which focuses on achieving the objectives of the WMP to improve the lake and surrounding watershed. She leads a range of environmental, watershed, and waste reduction initiatives, with a strong passion for public education and creating meaningful learning opportunities.
