Community Climate Change Adaptation helps local communities understand and prepare for the climate impacts that affect their lands and natural resources. In conservation and land management, this means working together to protect forests, wildlife, and watersheds while also supporting the people who rely on them.

Join the CCLM for a practical and accessible webinar on community climate change adaptation, featuring two complementary perspectives that together support resilience in both small forest-based communities and urban environments.

Our presenters, Robert Chapman and Erin Fraser-Reid will explore how communities - regardless of size or setting – can develop effective, locally led climate adaptation strategies.

The session will include an overview of the newly released Community Climate Change Adaptation Guidebook, designed for communities without dedicated climate staff. This resource provides clear steps for creating grassroots adaptation plans built around local knowledge, priorities, and capacity.
