Staff and volunteers of a forest conservation initiative in Orwell, P.E.I., have embarked on a project to restore the biodiversity of a new section of Acadian forest.  It's being done using a technique called patch cutting, where a small area of forest no bigger than 15 metres across is cleared and new shrubs, flowers, ferns and trees are planted in the patch.
