This February, attendees of the Canadian Land and Reclamation Association (CLRA) Alberta Chapter AGM and Conference will have the opportunity to hear first-hand about the diverse resources available to them on the newly launched Canadian Conservation and Land Management (CCLM) Knowledge Portal.

Bonnie Drozdowski, Team Lead - Reclamation, from InnoTech Alberta, a CCLM Knowledge Network collaborator, will be presenting on February 28th on how the network has been working to connect and support communities of practice and to highlight the resources and tools available through a comprehensive web portal.

Though still in it’s testing stage, the CCLM Knowledge Portal is a digital hub of information designed to bring conservation and land management resources together in one convenient and accessible website. The product of a multi-organization collaboration (CCLM Knowledge Network), the portal was created to help stakeholders tackle some of our country’s most pressing land management issues by connecting them to valuable information and resources. It’s a tool for sharing knowledge and lessons learned, particularly about caribou conservation, wetland best practices, land restoration and land reclamation.
