Catchment and Wetland Science (CAWS) Seminar Series

Bianca Rodríguz-Cardona from the Université du Québec à Montréal will be presenting on November 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM MST on Carbon and Nirtogen Dynamics in Arctic and Boreal Aquatic Ecosystems.

Arctic regions are undergoing fast changes and increasingly becoming more susceptible to fire. This presentation will address how fires have influenced stream chemistry and biogeochemical cycling. This will be done in two arctic regions, streams in the boreal forest of the Centrl Siberian Plateau and tundra sreams in the Yukon-Kukokwin River Delta, AK.
