Webinar - Alberta's Water Resources in a Hydrogen Economy: Understanding and Managing Potential Impacts

Hydrogen production in Alberta is a significant economic diversification opportunity and an important pathway to achieving net-zero targets. The rapid increase in projects and future development requires careful planning and understanding of environmental trade-offs, especially in regions where water supply is already limited.

This session will provide an overview of the hydrogen sector in Alberta and examples of efforts underway to understand and manage potential impacts, including the potential for new development to be affected by inadequate current or future water supply.
