2GA Note 10 : Suivi de la régénération forestière dans les écosystèmes forestiers du Canada

This research project aims to improve understanding of how remotely sensed recovery assessments can be used for the planning and monitoring of reforestation activities. The project will also explore how remotely sensed and field-based assessments of forest recovery can be best integrated to provide a more complete understanding of post-fire recovery. The knowledge that results from this research will support the 2 Billion Trees (2BT) program by helping to inform site selection. It will also support monitoring efforts to improve restoration success.
