This resource was created to help users with their fundraising and support amazing work in stewardship and conservation across Turtle Island. It was designed with Indigenous individuals, communities, and nations in mind, but can also be used if you are hoping to partner with Indigenous peoples or explore grant-writing more generally. This presentation was designed by Archipel Research and Consulting Inc., in partnership with the Indigenous Knowledge Circle of the National Boreal Caribou Knowledge Consortium. We would like to acknowledge that there are many facets of writing a grant that may not be captured here. Our goal is to create a digestible overview of the application process and offer resources for further research.
