The NBCKC was established by Environment and Climate Change Canada in 2018 to advance caribou recovery under the Species at Risk Act by improving how knowledge is shared, generated, and mobilized across sectors. This report details the purpose, structure, and major achievements of the National Boreal Caribou Knowledge Consortium (NBCKC) and shares knowledge and insights the NBCKC compiled to support boreal caribou conservation moving forward.
