A Powerfully Ponderous Primer on Protecting Peatlands in Manitoba with Provincially Significant Peatlands: A PowerPoint Presentation

Manitoba is enhancing nature protections, and this (in part) means protecting peatlands. In this powerfully ponderous presentation, you will learn all about provincially significant peatlands, a protected areas designation under The Peatlands Stewardship Act. We will review what makes peatlands significant, what peatlands have already been designated as provincially significant, what peatlands are currently proposed to be designated, and ideas for future peatlands protection projects in Manitoba.
