Virtually explore and learn about Canada’s first outdoor, hands-on site for boreal wetlands training, research and demonstrations. Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) and the Evergreen Learning and Innovation Society (ELIS) are exploring the development of a Wetland Centre located at Evergreen Park in the County of Grande Prairie, northwest Alberta. The Wetland Centre aims to foster connections between diverse groups including industry, government, educational groups, and other interested groups and individuals to allow for the respectful exchange of innovative ideas.

As we are unable to host an in-person event, this online event will provide a forum to learn about and virtually explore the Wetland Centre site, to learn about boreal wetlands and citizen science, and learn about opportunities to get involved.
