Ducks Unlimited Canada's Best Management Practices Team (BMP) was developed in 2012 to help industry’s growing efforts to implement practices that support the responsible management of wetlands, waterfowl and waterfowl habitat. The team works collaboratively to identify and promote the use of BMPs, act as a conduit for information exchange, and provide industry access to practices recommended by a respected conservation organization. In this webinar BMP team staff give an overview of projects and activities. The BMP team will provide a background on their program, their goals and objectives, and some of their past and ongoing activities and projects. The team will also explain what led to the development of the Wetland BMP Knowledge Exchange, why it was established and its goals moving forward.
