About
I worked as a geoscientist before studying Forest Biology and Management at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and the University of Alberta, Canada. I have worked as an analyst studying wildfire ecology, wildfire growth, landscape restoration, and forest phenology, among other topics. I specialize in R and GIS modelling and analysis, and I have worked as a wildfire growth modeler in support of Canada’s regional wildfire agencies. I am learning French and German, and I like to spend my free time coaxing or carrying my small children up hiking trails in Canada’s Parks.
