Masahito Ueyama is an associate professor of the Ecological Meteorology Group at Osaka Metropolitan University. His major is micrometeorology, studying biosphere-atmosphere interactions based on long-term flux measurements, ecological modeling, and remote sensing techniques. His current research aims to 1) understand long-term changes in biosphere-atmosphere interaction in boreal forests in Alaska, 2) methane exchange between terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere, and 3) greenhouse gas budget in urban landscapes.
