The Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) supports Indigenous people and communities in being leaders of positive environmental change. The resources and products they offer are developed in response to the needs defined by their Indigenous partners and to support their important environmental decisions with the best Western and Indigenous Knowledge available. CIER aims to help build the capacity of First Nations to take action and to create respect for Indigenous worldviews and relationships with the natural world.

The IPCA Knowledge Basket is a digital space created to honour, celebrate and catalyze Indigenous-led conservation pathways in Canada, including Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs). The IPCA Knowledge Basket weaves multiple knowledge systems together and holds a variety of stories, videos, songs, government reports and policies, academic articles, resources and artwork available to anyone working to support IPCAs and Indigenous-led conservation.

The Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership (CRP) is an Indigenous-led network that brings together a diverse range of partners to advance Indigenous-led conservation, including Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) and to transform the conservation sector in Canada. The CRP is a collective of Indigenous leadership, conservation agencies and organizations, academia, civil society, and communities acting on and building from the recommendations set out by the Indigenous Circle of Expert’s report We Rise Together. They co-create resources and tools that directly respond to the needs of IPCA initiatives and that feed into the IPCA Knowledge Basket.

The Ɂehdzo Got’ı̨nę Gots’ę́ Nákedı - or Sahtú Renewable Resources Board - is one of three co-management boards in the Sahtú Region. They work together with the five Sahtú Ɂehdzo Got’ı̨nę (Renewable Resource Council), communities, government and industry to manage the land wisely and maintain Dene and Métis harvesting traditions for future generations. Their website contains diverse information and resources to support the Indigenous people of the Sahtú Region in leading stewardship, co-management plans, research and resource management on their land.

The Indigenous Climate Hub is an Indigenous-led project and national online platform for First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples, communities and organizations to learn, share and connect. The Indigenous Climate Hub was created by Okwaho Equal Source, an Indigenous consultancy and design thinking firm, headquartered in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, Ontario. The site provides helpful resources and information on climate change and impactful climate change stories from Indigenous perspectives and includes a searchable resource library.

The First Nations Land Management Resource Centre (RC) is dedicated to serving and supporting First Nations communities who want to re-establish control over their lands, natural resources, and environment through the historic government-to-government Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management. The RC provides technical and professional support to First Nation signatories as they develop and implement their own land codes and offers a variety of resources and a Training & Workshops page to connect managers, directors and communities to topics of interest.
