Parks Canada’s proposal for conservation breeding is available online (plan summary). Consultations on caribou conservation breeding in Jasper are ongoing with Indigenous partners and interested stakeholders.

Parks Canada is hosting two public sessions (one virtual, one in person) on caribou conservation breeding. Each session will include a panel presentation and the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and discuss the proposal with park staff. Sessions will be identical.

In person session: Monday, June 27, 2022, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Forest Park Hotel, 76 Connaught Drive, Jasper, Alberta. Doors will open at 6:00 pm. Light snacks and beverages will be served.
