Now, caribou in northeastern British Columbia (B.C.) have new hope and a protected home more than three times the size of Mount Robson Provincial Park.

Join us in celebrating a historic Partnership Agreement between Saulteau First Nations, West Moberly First Nations, Canada and British Columbiaand attend the exclusive online premiere of Caribou Homeland, commemorating this historic moment alongside filmmaker David Moskowitz, Saulteau First Nations Treaty Rights and Environmental Protection Director Naomi Owens-Beek, and Y2Y staff.

Caribou Homeland, an 11-minute short film, offers a glimpse into the multi-faceted, Indigenous-led conservation project to protect habitat and recover mountain caribou — the most successful of its kind in North America.

The work by West Moberly and Saulteau First Nations to protect mountain caribou habitat, restore food sovereignty and their traditional cultures is a unique and poignant bright spot on the conservation map.

A live Q&A will follow the presentation of the film.
