The Alberta Regional Caribou Knowledge Partnership (ARCKP) is a partnership between Alberta's forest sector and the Government of Alberta. Formed in 2018, this group is working together to find on-the-ground solutions that promote sustainable woodland caribou conservation and a viable forest sector. A key activity of the partnership is to collaboratively identify important knowledge gaps and allocate funds to research, synthesis and modelling projects, and to knowledge exchange efforts that are best suited to fill these gaps. Priority topics and questions explored by the partnership are collaboratively identified by ARCKP partners, stakeholders and members of their technical committee. To date, the ARCKP has funded six research projects, three of which are now complete with final reports available for download on the ARCKP website.

The ARCKP currently has two new exciting project opportunities to share with the research community. Proposals are due December 19, 11:59 PM (MST) and should be submitted to kristy@fuseconsulting.ca. Questions will be addressed until December 14, 4:30 M (MST) and can be submitted to the same email address.

Full details and submission requirements are provided in the RFPs below.
