This report describes a general-purpose spatial inventory rollback tool that can be applied to any GCBM project to adjust the inventory age, spatial disturbances, regeneration delays and historical stand-establishment to a desired baseline year. The tool also provides inventory and disturbance statistics, and identifes discrepancies between the inventory and spatial disturbance datasets. We summarize the tool’s procedures and describe how to confgure and run the tool. Sample results are shown for a provincial scale run of British Columbia’s public forests, where a 2015 vintage inventory was rolled back to 1990.
