This video is a recording of a presentation about the community-led caribou planning being led by the Sahtú Renewable Resource Board (SRRB). Hosted by Amanda Sheedy of the National Boreal Caribou Knowledge Consortium's Indigenous Knowledge Circle, presenters from the SRRB shared about their stewardship planning processes that were informed by Healthy Country Planning, including a series of Public “Listening” Sessions.

Dr. Deborah Simmons (executive director of SRRB) and Melanie Harding (community planner with SRRB) presented about what the SRRB is and the work they are doing. Shúhtaot'ı̨nę Elder with the Tulı́t’a Dene Band and Nę K’ǝ Dene Ts'ı̨lı̨ (Living on the Land) Forum Research Director and Chair Leon Andrew and Délı̨nę Got'ı̨nę Elder Walter Bezha presented about the Dene way of planning and how it is different from the other ways of planning.
