Developed the Indigenous Knowledge Circle (IKC) of the National Boreal Caribou Knowledge Consortium (NBCKC), these Guiding Principles for Cross-cultural Collaboration provide the foundation for a new way of working rooted in reconciliation, healing and collaboration to protect, restore and conserve species and natural environments. They form the core of "Beyond Conservation: A Toolkit for Respectful Collaboration with Indigenous Peoples" which also provides practical tools and resources to help you apply the principles in your collaborative stewardship and conservation work with Indigenous Peoples.
