To meet federal Recovery Strategy objectives, the Government of the Northwest Territories, Environment and Natural Resources Department (GNWT-ENR) is developing a set of regional plans to demonstrate how habitat conservation targets can be met across the boreal caribou range in the Northwest Territories (NWT). This report assesses the combined impact of forest fire and timber harvesting on boreal caribou habitat under different climate change scenarios in Dehcho and South Slave administrative regions.
