John Pomeroy, professor at the University of Saskatchewan, talks about water supply resilience and flood risk from mountain catchments. He discusses the value of The Canadian Rockies Hydrological Observatory and the Marmot Creek Research Basin. The Cold Regions Hydrological Modelling Platform is explained. The impact of experimental forestry on runoff in Marmot Creek, and a forest gap experiment is also discussed.
