This report summarizes progress for projects related to in situ reclamation of the Canada’s Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA) Land Environmental Priority Area (EPA) as of 2021 (published March 2022).
These in situ research projects focus on wetlands, soils and reclamation materials, revegetation techniques, wildlife research and monitoring, and environmental research and monitoring. Each report includes a summary of the project objectives, progress and achievements as of 2021 and lessons learned for each research site and the techniques used.
These projects were developed in collaboration with various research providers and industry collaborators.
